MCI actively seeks, select and appoint overseas affiliates residing outside Australia to act as referrers that use and recommend our services to patients in their country.
All affiliates are appointed through a selection process and after a visit to their premises in the respective country. MCI international referrers are paid by us based on the services they perform and all arrangements are subject to local law.

Our extensive medical services and prompt communication with our patients' medical consultant are among our top priorities. Referring medical consultants services include:

Making an Appointment
An MCI representative will be happy to schedule your appointment with an MCI Consultant and arrange all aspects of international patients' medical care with special attention to personal, cultural and travel-related needs. Our MCI professional staff will arrange consultations, second opinions or treatment, and coordinates appointments in a time-efficient manner. How to Make a Referral
Please have the following patient information available in order to quickly expedite your referral request:
- Full name (including maiden name, if known)
- Date of birth
- Current address
- Current phone number
- Current insurance information, including name of insurance company and claim approval number.
- Special needs requirements (interpreter, transportation, preferred day of week for appointment, etc.)
- Medical history (associated medical conditions, current and ongoing treatments, x-rays, allergies, medications, etc.)

What happens once I have placed my referral?
Once your request is received, it is logged into our tracking system, and medical practitioner is assigned the case. A medical practitioner and a services representative act on your behalf to facilitate your request, contacting the appropriate section(s) and following the request through to completion. Your surgery or office is notified of the patient's appointment date, time, and location once it is scheduled. Depending upon the urgency of your request and the need to communicate with the patient for scheduling purposes, response times may vary.
