Advertising, Sponsorship and Promotions Policy

Prohibited Advertising

MCI has sole discretion for determining the types of advertising that will be accepted and displayed on the web site. We will not accept advertising that MedHelp.org determines in its sole discretion to be:

• for illegal products;
• offensive material, including material that misrepresents, ridicules, or attacks an individual or group on the basis of colour, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability;
• related to alcohol, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, gambling, pornography or tobacco;

• Injures MCI’s good name or reputation or is otherwise inconsistent with our principles.

MCI reserves the right to reject, cancel, or remove at any time any advertising from the Site for any reason and will provide prompt notice to the advertiser upon rejection, cancellation, or removal of any advertising, together with an explanation following the rejection, cancellation, or removal.

Separation of Advertising between Editorial Content

MCI recognizes the importance of maintaining a distinct separation between advertising content and editorial and decision-making content and strives to clearly and unambiguously identify all advertising as such. Sponsored content must be labeled as being sponsored and the name of the sponsor is clearly displayed. We also reserve the right to determine the appropriate placement of the advertising on our web site. MCI retains the exclusive right to determine the way in which any and all search results for specific information by keyword or topic are displayed on the web site.

All advertisers and sponsors must comply with all applicable foreign, domestic and local governmental laws, including the regulations of regulatory agencies. However, MCI will not monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations but reserves the right to review any advertising for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and, we reserve the right to remove the advertising it determines in its sole discretion to violate such laws and regulations.
